It’s the middle of your wedding planning and we thought we’d give you some more choices to make for your wedding music for your Lancaster, PA wedding playlist. If you’re tired of making all these choices, then just choose Rockin Out DJ Service, and we’ll help you catch your 2nd wind.
Thought we’d cover just about each category. These will be on Rockin Out DJ Service’s Spotify playlist – New Wedding Music 2017. For you to listen all in one place, and for those who don’t have Spotify, we put it here in YouTube embeds.
We’ll start where a wedding begins,
18th Floor Balcony by Blue October – This is a good one for the prelude or Bridesmaid entrance or wherever you’d like to put it. Not really new, but new to me.
This Is Why I Need You – Jesse Ruben
Another good one and new from this singer-songwriter. Plus this channel on YouTube is really a good one if you like singer-songwriters and the Coffeehouse Channel on SiriusXM Radio
A River Flows In You – Yiruma
Brides and Grooms seem to rave about this one on WeddingWire, and for good reason. It’s a very emotional piece and there’s a whole 55 minutes more of great piano like this on the album from which this is taken. I’d use it for a Seating Of The Mothers Song.
No One Does I Do Like We Do – Harry Connick Jr. – I know this one has been out for a little bit, but I like it. Sometimes you can overdo Connick at a wedding, but I’d do this one and his version of All Of Me if I’d do anything.
Hold Onto You So Tight – Darren Zancan Band – This sounds a little more country than most country nowadays. It has a full band in the demo, but the full version of this isn’t on YouTube yet. So here is the acoustic version. I would play this closer to the Open Dancing portion of the night.
Three Little Words – Cyrille Aimee – Normally this song is at a slower tempo, but I like this for after dinner and before dancing, plus it’s a woman vocalist and lot of weddings you don’t hear enough women vocalists. Plus this arrangement is pretty cool.
Really haven’t heard anything new come out lately that I’m looking forward to getting people to dance to. But this is the best of what’s out there since the beginning of 2016. Plus one or two favorites that I’ve never heard played by other wedding DJs. I just don’t like a lot of what’s out there now.
All My Friends – Snakeships – Up 21% on the trending map on the Billboard emerging artists chart for the week. Plus it talks about getting wasted, so there’s that. Two important aspects of a wedding reception, wasted and friends.
Sweet Lovin – Sigala (Remix) This is a good one that sounds like you should listen to it in a West London club. The remix here is a bit toned down.
When The Bassline Drops – Craig David – Another clubby song but pretty good too.
100% Pure Love – Crystal Waters – back to the middle and around again
Mmm Bop – Hanson – You say you hate this song, but you had this poster on your bedroom wall and if you say you didn’t, you’re a damn liar.
Poison – BBD – Now go watch more 90s videos cuz they’re the shit.
Our Spotify Playlist for this list is below. Although you may not want to listen to the ceremony music and the Open Dancing together.
